Artist’s Statement

 The great American Southwest, its indigenous peoples and their cultures, fascinate and intrigue me as a Photographic Artist.  As a child I read and studied the amazing phenomenon of this land, and the balance its People have come to understand.  Mother Earth has provided the spiritual and physical nourishment of Her People, and Her People have offered great respect and honor in return.  It has been my life's work to find the center of this balance and present it through my art.

It became impossible for me to simply visit the Four Corners, take photographs, and return home.  As my images developed and began filling my home, I felt the call, and moved to be part of the land I love.  I currently live in the Heart of the Southwest and the Indian Capital of the World, Gallup, New Mexico.  I would like to share my appreciation, love and amazement for the harmony of this world with you.
