Testimonials for the photo art of Jeri Joanna Poletto

There's no disputing that traveling the American West, in particular the Four Corners region, is an unparalleled event.  There is absolutely no place on the planet quite like it.  At every turn there are views to take your breath away; holding onto those views was always the hard part.  That was, until I met Jeri Poletto, a Photo Artist working out of Gallup, New Mexico.

Jeri's work not only captures the scene, she is able to capture the emotion.  This is an aspect of the artist’s gift that can not be taught, this is the portion of her palette she was born with, and over time perfected.  Her perfection comes from visiting and revisiting an area, taking hundreds of pictures, balancing light, weather, form and texture; then composing one glorious image.  Of all the unexpected pleasures I have encountered during my travels to this area, discovering Jeri’s work is one I treasure most.  She has given me not only the opportunity to bring my memories home, but to travel in my mind, every day of the year.

Take a look and see what I mean.  Hold your breath, there is no turning away.
